Following the remarkable success of its inaugural Blockchain Congress last year, Palexpo announced the second Geneva Blockchain Congress to take place on 20 January 2020.

The Congress’ theme From Lab to Market, through Ethics, Regulation and Governance will examine all the essential questions related to blockchain and sustainability. Only by addressing these fundamental elements will business be able to flourish with confidence in a market context that is changing by the day.

At the nexus of geopolitics, hosting the United Nations and countless non-governmental organizations, and in its role as a centre for international finance, Geneva is ideally located for an examination of the issues that underpin deferred ledger technology.

Geneva’s exhibition and convention centre, is an international venue for sporting, economic and cultural shows and events and is a stone’s throw from Geneva airport, close to the city’s main train station and easily accessible by motorway from the rest of Switzerland, as well as from France, Italy and Germany.

The 2020 Geneva Blockchain Congress will focus on eight separate themes:
