We are bringing a new financial services paradigm to the digital asset economy. In scope of our growth plans we are seeking for Risk Controller as part of our Chief Risk Office team.

In this role, you will report both, to our Head of Market Risk & Reporting and to our Head of Credit, and perform the following tasks:

  • Support risk control activities for market risks, liquidity risk, credit & counterparty risks to ensure that risks are in line with defined risk appetite and risk limits
  • Calculate, analyze and report risk exposures on a daily basis for management and respective business lines
  • Prepare stress tests and scenario analysis under unfavorable operating conditions for all risk categories
  • Preparing defined risk metrics and indicators for Risk Report to Executive Committee and Board of Directors
  • Support function for the regular reporting duties to SNB
  • Maintain and enrich the risk infrastructure for the offered services and products, including crypto assets
  • Set up and drive risk controlling routines, institutionalize good quality forecasting and early warning processes
  • Ensure timely intervention and response plan in event of risk events
  • Assess, prepare and present credit and counterparty limit requests to the appropriate credit authority holder
  • Monitor performance of the loan portfolio, including execution of the margin call / close-out process
  • Support further development of the Loan-to-Value methodology for both, digital and traditional assets
  • Involvement in different projects

For you to become part of SEBA’s journey, we require the following qualifications:

  • Experience in Risk Management in the financial services industry (including knowledge of the Swiss regulatory framework and FINMA requirements for risk control function)
  • Good knowledge of a Bank’s reporting duties to the SNB
  • Experience in credit risk analysis and collateral management
  • Ability to flexibly handle multiple tasks, while maintaining control and order over the same
  • Being a trusted team player and motivated to your ongoing personal development
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, SQL knowledge is an advantage
